KEMA'S CREDENTIAL FOR PROFESSIONALISM
CERTIFIED KENTUCKY EMERGENCY MANAGER PROGRAM
Certified Emergency Manager Recipient List
OVERVIEW
Applications are being accepted with a plan to review as needed on a quarterly basis. Following a successful packet review, an applicant meeting the criteria of the program will be notified and encouraged to begin using the CKEM designation. Formal presentation of the certification will occur in conjunction with the Kentucky Emergency Services Conference.
The first step in the process will be to download the Program Overview document below. Once you have reviewed the requirements and are ready to proceed download and complete both the Application and Code of Conduct documents, and submit them along with payment for review.
Should you have questions on how to complete your application contact CKEM Committee Chairman Rick Cox of Hancock County at rcox243@gmail.com or 270-927-6808.
Remember - Not all emergency managers will qualify as a CKEM; only those who take that extra effort in professionalism will make it.
